We were shocked and saddened to hear of Pat's passing. She was a hard-working, thoughtful, dependable and gracious lady for whom we had great admiration. Pat catered our many events at the church and SYC - she was the best. What a great loss to family and community. To Brenda, Jeff and families. So sorry to hear of your loss. So many tributes have preceded mine and all are so richly deserved. We moved from Kerwood a couple of years ago and, while we had heard she was ill, did not appreciate how serious it was.
I think it was the night of our Optimist Charter Party, some thirty eight years ago, that your mother came up to me and congratulated us on the formation of our new club. She mentioned, in passing, that she had started a catering business and if we needed someone to prepare food for our dinner meetings, she would be happy to oblige. I’d known Pat for many years before that as a contemporary of my brother and sister’s and a neighbour from the Sixth Line, so I took it up with my fellow members and we agreed. The rest, as they say, is history. In fact, the only ladies who have cooked more meals for me than Pat are my mother and my wife of 38+ years.
We’ve always considered her a dear friend and she will be missed.

We had the absolute pleasure of knowing Pat for many years. Pat was very involved in helping us for 10yrs. as we raised money for the Sarnia Hospice with our motorcycle runs. Pat then catered our daughters wedding and she and her team did the usual beautiful job. She was certainly ONE OF A KIND and her love of her family and all people was always evident in everything she did. Rest easy Pat, so many are richer for having known you!

I remember your Mom visiting at my grandparents farm ( Stan and Merle Edwards) on the second line. I recall that each visit she arrived with some delicious freshly baked treat. I was lucky enough to have her make my own wedding cake. She had an infectious laugh and a jolly personality.

I had the pleasure of meeting Pat 7 years ago when she catered my daughters wedding. She always had a friendly smile and a hug and genuinely cared about everyone. Since the wedding, when our paths crossed, she always remembered our names and asked how my daughter and the rest of the family were doing. She was an amazing lady with so much vim and vigor. Pat was a lovely gal that I worked with for a few years for our residents at BW Country in Sarnia. She catered many events for our community, always had plenty of food for everyone and was a very caring person with out residents. She also was very generous when we hosted an event by making a donation towards whatever fundraiser our community was doing. She will be missed.

I've known Pat most of my life, starting with being neighbours. Used to see her time to time at Karl's Car and Truck when I was employed there for a social coffee time it was the local area hangout, it was always nice to see her.
