What a wonderful woman! Helen was the very first person to welcome us to Watford in June 2000. Though she was in the midst of cancer treatments, she walked over to the manse with a smile and some food, knowing we did not have time to make a meal the day we moved in. We still have a “crafty” Christmas tree she made for us, out on display In our home no matter where we lived.
We are proud to have known her. Her love and caring reached so many people. Helen was a truly Christian woman, who lived her faith every day.
Our prayers are with your whole family.
Rev Tom and Maureen Beecroft

Steve, Debbie & family and all the Vandenheuvel family:
Our deepest sympathies in the loss of your Mom, Helen. I grew up across the street from Helen and was always lucky when she had baked buns and we got to have some. She was the CGIT leader when I joined and taught us girls so many crafts etc. I worked with her at the church doing dinners and at UCW. Cherish her handmade Christmas ornaments she gave to everyone at the Christmas meetings. She will be missed by so many. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love Wilma & Jim Johnson

Our condolences to Helen's entire family. Helen helped so many family members, friends and neighbours, without any need for recognition. She was a strong, independent, hardworking woman. Helen fiercely loved her family and had a beautiful smile. She was a terrific baker and artisan, and gave amazing hugs. We will miss her. We are thinking of all of you. Michael, Pam, Mason and Marshall.
