When Henry moved to Canada in 1947, his first year was spent living and working with my parents on our farm near Mitchell. We 4 young kids loved him dearly. That wonderful friendship with the Van Dinther family has continued through all the years since 1947. Dina always warmly welcomed our family to her home, despite being very busy with her own young family. She was a truly wonderful woman in every way.

Wij bewaren vele mooie en warme herinneringen aan haar tijdens haar bezoeken aan haar dierbare familie in Someren Holland. Ook hebben wij tijdens onze bezoeken in 2007 en 2014 aan jullie in Canada veel warme en hartelijke familie ontmoetingen bij jullie gehad. Bijzonder mooi waren toen de prachtige hartelijke bezoeken aan jullie mam tante Dina bij haar in Stratroy! Ze kon
prachtige verhalen vertellen over haar eenvoudige leven vroeger in haar geboorteland en heel veel verhalen vertelde ze ook over de moelijke tijd toen ze vanuit Holland emigreerde naar dat verre nieuwe land Canada! Alles is uiteindelijk goed gekomen dankzij haar prachtig grote gezin! Geweldige dierbare herinneringen! We wensen jullie heel veel sterkte en kracht toe in deze droevige dagen van afscheid nemen van jullie geliefde moeder Dina.
