Barry, Jamie, and Ryan: I ran into Roger a couple of weeks ago and we shared stories. He told me about the service and the spreading of Dale's ashes. I know that you must miss him greatly as do all of his friends. He touched so many lives, in so many ways, and was loved. Donna

My condolences go out to Barry, Jamie and Ryan for the loss of their dad. I just recently found out and was shocked to hear of his passing. I was in Mr. Peacock's first class when he was still a student teacher, at the Dutton Public School. He was a great teacher, who will surely be missed by many. In later years, it was fun working with his boys at the golf course and even working with him near the end of my career at Wardsville. He went from teacher, to co worker, to friend, to neighbour, all in one life time. He was a good man, and I hope all the memories you guys have of him will keep him alive in your hearts. All the best to you and your families. Sue

To Barry, Jamie, Ryan, Joanne Our thoughts and hearts are with you all now and in the difficult times to come. We did not have the chance to meet Mr. Peacock personally but heard many wonderful stories and kind words of a man that was loved. We have the pleasure of knowing Jamie and meeting his brothers; and if they are anything like their dad he is a wonderful as we imagined. We once read that any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad. We are truly sorry for the loss of your father, father in law, friend and family member.

Barry, My deepest condolences to you and your family. I remember your father from grades 7/8 math class. He was easygoing and always seemed to have a reason to smile - and, as I recall, he was also blessed with a keen wit and a good sense of humour. Your Dad will live forever in my memories as a person to look up to.

When I started grade 7 at W.E.S.E.S. I was a very shy girl who lacked confidence. Gym was my worst subject and I was about to fail it. Mr. Peacock talked to me about going ahead and seeing what I could do instead of assuming that I couldn't do any thing.
For my grade 8 year, Mr. Peacock was my home room teacher. That whole year, he made sure that I never stopped looking at what I could do. It's been 16 years since he was my teacher, but to this day, I remember what he taught me and what it meant.
Thank You

Barry, Jamie and Ryan - I was saddened to hear the news of your Dad's passing. In my family's travels over the past 20 years we really fell out of touch and I am disappointed I didn't have the opportunity to get to know my Uncle Dale better. Reading the notes posted by other friends and past students was a touching reminder of what a gentle and loved man he was. Despite our distance, I want you and your families to know that our prayers and thoughts are with you.
