Obituary of Mary Christie

Peacefully in the presence of the Lord at Bluewater Health CEE Site Petrolia on Tuesday, January 23, 2007, Mary Maxine Christie (Smith) of Wyoming in her 88th year. Mary is predeceased by her husband David (1996), sister Gertrude (1918) and brothers Grant (1990) and George (2003) Smith. Mary is survived by her daughter Karen of Petrolia, nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Mary graduated from the school of nursing at Victoria Hospital in London and worked as a Registered Nurse for Dr. Norris in Wyoming for 32 years. After retirement she continued to volunteer at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Sarnia. Visitation will be held at the Harper Funeral Home, Watford on Friday, January 26th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at 11am at the People's Church, 3888 London Line, Wyoming with Pastor Kevin Mahon officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
