Obituary of Josie Wilcocks

Peacefully in her sleep at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on April 3rd, 2025, Josie Wilcocks passed away at the age of 59. Josie was the devoted and loving wife of Greg Wilcocks for 36 wonderful years. She was the greatest mom ever to her two boys Brendan (Alex) and Colin (Katrina). Proudest grandma of Georgia and Shepherd. Josie is survived by her father Peter (the late Tina) Thuss and her brothers Pete (Maria) Thuss and Charles (Jamie) Thuss. Josie will be missed dearly by her mother-in-law Judy (the late Garry) Wilcocks and her sisters-in-law Barb (Kevin) and Chris (Mike).

Josie had the most infectious laugh and could make anyone smile. She loved to travel around Ontario fishing with her beloved husband Greg. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her family. She would tell anyone who would listen about her grandchildren, who she was so proud of. Josie was truly one-of-a-kind.

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF WATFORD on Saturday April 12th, 2025. A Legion Ceremony will be held at 11:00a.m., where visitation will take place following, from 11:00a.m until 2:00pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Watford Legion.
